Thanks for the excellent ride report!

We are heading up in Aug...15-23..this year...can't wait!

I hope to get the group to go as far north and also as far east as possible. Fuel is an issue and will force everyone to carry 2 or more gallons just in case. The majority of us ride KLR 650's and some on VStroms.

Again..excellent report.

Hey Willys,

Looks like you have the perfect motorcyles for the ride. Those KLR's are a great machine. They get great gas mileage, have good suspension ,light weight and you can run a variety of tires. Robb on the KLR was running Avon Gripsters on our trip. They are a good all purpose tire and wear well.

I'm looking forward to hearing about your ride . Good luck!

Terry.

Thanks terry...yes i run Gripsters too...excellent tire for adventure riding. I think we have 8 guys confirmed so far for the adventure, might even get up to 12 yet.....would be an excellent adventure if we can get that many... I hope to ride at a sensible rate not do a speed run, thus giving us plenty of time to stop and see the scenery.

Terry,
I crossed paths with you in Amos (BMW K100), and with the Vicar of Immaculate Contraptions and friends in Mattagami in June 09. How about an update on your trip? Plans for future excusions?
