In September 2000 I revisited the James Bay region. It was full-blown late autumn, with all the awesome fall colours that you'd expect. We traveled 3500km in 4 days (Sep 22-25).

Checkpoint: Because of the remoteness of the country that the road travels through and the lack of services, they like you to stop here and tell them who you are and where you're going, especially in the winter.
